3D design validation

About This Project

The initial prototypes developed aimed to create shapes that mimic patterns found in nature. However, since they were intended for the production of silicone molds (to facilitate the creation of multiple copies for each test conducted), it was necessary to simplify the design, particularly regarding the angles to ensure easy mold removal. The result in the first image illustrates how the essence of complexity was preserved, both in texture and morphology, allowing for 3D printing without supports and for the fabrication of silicone molds where the developed mortar would be cast.
