About This Project

Understanding and replicating biological structures from the observation of new concepts coming from nature, which are added to the technological and scientific knowledge developed by man, is, in short, the main premise of biomimetics, which has been considered a relevant tool for creativity. and innovation. In this study, the starting point and source of inspiration becomes the search for forms from nature and for the intention to implement non-invasive forms in the natural environment. From a design perspective, it is a challenge that offers the possibility of returning to nature something very similar to what was originally there.

The textures created have three types of morphology: linear-circular-granular-random and differ mainly in the intensity of the reliefs, in the scale and in the accentuation of the holes. From these conceptual models, the first substrates were manufactured.
