“…Even if you never have the chance to see or touch the ocean, it touches you with every breath you take, every drop of water you drink, every bite you consume. Everyone, everywhere is inextricably connected to and utterly dependent upon the existence of the sea…”

-Dr Sylvia Earle

We are a team of researchers between professors and students developing work within the scope of a doctoral program.

We are developing a doutoral research on the design, construction and implementation of artificial reefs using 3D printing technologies and sustainable materials.

Our team has extensive knowledge in the areas of engineering, design, biology, which will provide the necessary skills for the consolidation of this project.

Additive manufacturing technologies have demonstrated innovative solutions for marine restoration. Our approach is to study the morphological possibilities of construction and the dosage of suitable materials to promote marine ecosystems.
